Tenderbody offers spaces for rest, reconnection, softness, and embodied support. These offerings are created for people moving through overwhelm, grief, transition, numbness, longing, and becoming - especially queer, trans, marginalized, disabled, and fat folks, trauma survivors, and anyone craving connection through slowness, care, and body trust.

Whether you are looking for community space, a gentle place to begin, or one-on-one support, Tenderbody offerings are designed to meet you without pressure, performance, or perfection.

Values

This work is rooted in the belief that rest, softness, pleasure, and connection are necessary forms of care, especially for people living in bodies and identities that are often marginalized, surveilled, or harmed.

Tenderbody is grounded in consent and bodily autonomy, in body liberation, in trans and queer affirmation, in anti-racism, and in a deep respect for different needs and capacities. It is shaped by a commitment to collective care, to disability justice, to immigrant justice, to reproductive freedom, and to practices of restoration over punishment.

This work does not separate the body from the world it is living in. It understands that many of us are moving through systems that demand urgency, extraction, disconnection, and control. Tenderbody moves differently. It leans toward slowness, toward presence, toward non-performance, and toward ways of being that make room for complexity, contradiction, and change.

This space is part of a larger practice of resisting harm and building something else. It is a place to soften, to reconnect, and to remember that care, pleasure, and connection are not luxuries, but necessary and shared.

You are welcome to come as you are, to participate in ways that feel possible, and to take what you need.

Accessibility & Pricing

Pricing is offered on a sliding scale whenever possible as a practice of redistribution and collective access. Rather than fixed, one-size pricing, this approach recognizes that we are all moving within different relationships to resources, stability, and support.

You’re invited to choose the rate that feels most honest and sustainable for you. This might include considering your access to income, financial support, housing stability, and overall capacity, as well as your values around mutual aid and collective care.

Choosing a higher rate helps support the continuation of this work and makes space for others to attend at a lower cost. Choosing a lower rate is valid when that’s what allows you to be here.

If the listed rates are not accessible to you, please reach out. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
